Shrinkage Template
'INNOLAB' Shrinkage Template consists of a set of 2 templates to measure Shrinkage or Stretch as a percentage change in length & Width wise ( Warp Weft ) direction in a fabric Generally Shrinkage or Stretch in a fabric is measured after washing & tumble drying, flat drying or line drying.
The bigger template has Slots in both Vertical & Horizontal direction. The distance between the slots in each direction is 350 mm. This template is placed on fabric & marks are put on all slots by a marking pen which easily goes inside the slot. After marking fabric is washed & dried. Now the smaller template with 5-10-15 marked on it & also with 2 slots 350 mm apart is placed on the marks in each direction. Observe the position of one of the marks ( out of 2 in each direction ) on the scale printed with 5-10-15 & see if there is Shrinkage or stretch. The reading ( Position of Mark on Scale ) is the Shrinkage or Stretch %.
