Fabric Thickness Gauge

Thickness of any compressible material such as fabric or felt etc. is defined as the thickness of material when it is compressed between two plane parallel plates under a specified pressure.

The 'INNOLAB' Fabric Thickness Gauge is a dead load type thickness gauge consisting of a dial micrometer with a flat pressure foot which exerts a specified pressure on the specimen kept on anvil. The whole arrangement is mounted on a rigid base having leveling screws to level the gauge. Both anvil and pressure foot have ground finish and mechanism to ensure parallelity of anvil and foot is also provided.
